CellEra was founded in 2007 based on the technology vision of its CTO, Dr. Shimshon Gottesfeld. The company’s mission has remained the same since the concept was first drawn on a napkin in a Boston seafood restaurant – to dramatically reduce fuel cell cost and thereby finally unlock their mass market potential. CellEra is currently realizing this mission through the development, fabrication and upcoming introduction to market of its first kW scale PFM Fuel Cells.
